The company also offers auto registration services, California title transfers and license plate issuance to our customers. All paperwork is processed on site and you will receive your new registration card and stickers before you leave the facility.*

Our Story: 1984 - 2015
Auto Chek's owners, Richard Fuchs, Sr. and Richard Fuchs, Jr.
Founder, John Wilson, opened Auto Chek Centers' first Test-Only Center in West Los Angeles on November 1st, 1984. Auto Chek Centers entered the young industry with an innovative, full-service, step-by-step strategy to meet the state's growing need for smog inspections.
This successful business model and service concept, enabled a second location to be opened two years later, in Fullerton. Auto Check Centers now operates six service locations in Southern California.
Today, Auto Chek Centers is owned and operated by father and son, Richard Fuchs, Sr. and Richard Fuchs, Jr.
